From our friendly new neighbourhood space on the Western Road we proudly stock a wide range of genres, all hand picked, for you to explore and find the next gem for your growing vinyl collection. With a state of the art sound system, a cosy coffee bar and passionate staff it's the perfect space to spend some time enjoying good music.

As passionate Hove dwellers we felt the time was right to bring a vinyl record store to the heart of the Hove community. We started looking for premises and our timing could not have been more perfect as the iconic Igigi store was looking to close its doors. And so Capsule Records was born, passing the wonderful shop from one passionate team to the next.

With an ambition to try and do things differently, we've designed the store to allow for easy browsing with big gallery style wall displays to showcase the beautiful album artwork alongside a QR codes on every album to allow you to explore the artist and take a listen. There's a cafe to allow you to relax and try new music, and an ethos of non judgemental new music discovery.
