About The Get it Together Crew:
This creative cohort have promoted a series of successful events and produced creative projects including an art Exhibition with arts funding, a documentary film on the history of Hip Hop and they have curated the line up to a festival followed by the launch of their own collaboration craft beer. Spinning eclectic sets dipping into genres including Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Latin, Jazz & Reggae; they have held down turntable duties as support for Lord Finesse, DJ Format, Evil Ed, Rob Life, A Skillz, Krafty Kuts, The Allergies, Beardyman and Cash Money. In response to the global pandemic, they launched a live stream project on Mixcloud in 2020 called Live from the Groove. A series of guest mixes and live performances soon gathered pace with appearances from The Allergies, JFB, ExP, DJ OP1, and Jazz T plus guest DJs from Brazil, Australia, Germany and America. Using the livestream project as a springboard, in summer 2022 they launched Live from the Groove the independent record label which now holds a healthy back-catalogue of releases including two sold out 45 singles. Get it Together have been resident DJs at the Brewhouse Project in Arundel, West Sussex since September 2020.
